Ministry + Discipleship Favorites ✨

This is what I’ve been using for my discipleship meetings lately! It gives a great foundation to what Christians believe! Challenges you with Scripture memory, daily Bible reading, deepening your prayer life, and learning to share the Gospel! There’s three books in the series, but this first one is FANTASTIC!

There is nothing better than a GREAT PEN! Black ink and it’s retractable! You can get the cute multi-colored grips as well! I think I have this pen in every color! It’s also become Alec’s favorite pen as well and it’s the only one he will use!

If you’ve been following for any bit of time, you know I’m trying to make it through the Bible in all these books! This month, I’ve spent time in Deuteronomy and now about half way through Joshua! These are great when you’re studying through Scripture! The left side is the text and the right page is blank-lined pages!

I have read all of Jennie Allen’s books and I always leave challenged and recharged! The title definitely comes to play because I really didn’t know the lie I was believing. However, she brings your attention back to the Gospel and the God who loves us so much. I left the book more aware of the lies I believe and how to fight them! Don’t speed read this one, but take your time to actually reflect and respond.

Hosting Favorites šŸ”

This month we hosted a women’s quarterly Bible Study at our house, but anytime we host these are some of our frequently used items!

When Alec and I got married, my cousin Jessica suggested we put an ice bucket on our registry. She told us it was an underrated item that everyone wishes they had. She sent us this one to add to our registry because it’s legit the best! It will keep ice for a good six hours with little liquid PLUS it has the ice scoop with a little container for it all on the ice bucket! We get this one out every time we host!

I love how versatile this one is! Sometimes I set all the trays out on the stand and other times I just need a little plate for the food. This stand comes apart too making it super easy to store and doesn’t take up much space! You can also angle it in different ways to best fit your space!

Each time we host we use a variety of this set! It was another wedding registry item, but one we use every time we have people over! We store it in the garage and then wipe the table and chairs down with a wipe every time we host!

I don’t have this exact utensil container, but I do have one similar that I use to hold forks, knives, and spoons. It’s a cute way to make your plastic wear look adorable!

Favorite Healthy Finds šŸ„—

Your girl is a sugar and carb lover who has been eating gluten, dairy, sugar, soy, and nightshade FREE since September 2025, which means I’m always looking for the best tasting foods! And everything I eat, I let my family try for the real taste-test!

I’m a huge IQ bar girlie! I eat at least one day! It’s a great source of protein and fiber–and ladies, we need more of both! The Mint Chocolate Chip ones literally bring me back to the ice cream flavor and it’s perfect! Put this in the fridge or freezer for a bit and it’s the best little treat!

Alec and I use these all the time for meal prep, leftovers, and lunches! My mom just mentioned to me how much she was looking for ones with the divider in it so I thought I would pass these along!

April is birthday month which means CAKE!!! I was looking for one that avoided the refined and cane sugar, and this one has coconut sugar in it! Honestly the cake is delicious and it’s quick and easy! One box of cake mix makes one 8-inch round cake and let me tell you, it’s so good! Usually gluten free items are dry and crumby. Not this one–it passed the taste-test of my family who eats all the normal ones! I used avocado oil and followed the instructions and wow–this will be on repeat!

Each day I make a smoothie! Right now, my go-to recipe is 8 oz of water or almond milk, half a banana, frozen berries (with extra raspberries), and a scoop of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. It’s yummy and delicious–and another great source of protein and fiber! Then I mix it all up in the Nutribullet–which happens to be way quieter than our Ninji that basically died on us.

Strength Favorites šŸ’ŖšŸ»

The gains are back!! After taking some time off, it’s back to business! I just started a new work-out program that I’m loving (Ladder)! I hate having to pick a workout, and this one is tailored to your specific health goals! If you click the link, I have a free 30 day trial! It’s the best! Then for Alec’s birthday, I told him he could teach me to play pickleball, and I really am enjoying it, so we’ve had a very active April!

I’m definitely no runner, but this has been my favorite shoe to work out in for the last few years! The shoe is lightweight and not too tight!

Not a gym rat by any means, but definitely try and make my way to our home gym three times a week! You’ll find me using these adjustable weights because they range from 5 lbs to 52.5 lbs. They’re easy to adjust between sets when you’re moving from one move to the next, and for someone like me it’s a great way build up in weights!

I love a cute high sock and bonus that it’s a grip sock so you don’t slide on the mat!

These are my favorite shorts in the summer–especially for work outs! There is no rub and they’re so cute and complete with pockets!

Reading Favorites šŸ“š

I’ve recently become a Kindle girlie, which has helped me read so many more books! I was hesitant to use it because I love holding an actual book, but honestly it made travel so much easier! If you don’t have one and you love to read, it just may be the thing for you!

My Texas cousins are big readers and recommended this book, and it did not disappoint! Definitely a great little murder mystery or “who done it?” kind of book! I was definitely wrong with who I thought it was, which makes for a great read!

Wanting to prop up your phone, kindle, or tablet? This is a great option! I love that I can change the angle and move it different directions! BONUS: it’s also soft! Not gonna lie, I have used the little cubby for snacks while I’m enjoying reading!

My current non-fiction read! I’m just beginning the book and already learning so much about how habits and liturgies actually have quite a bit in common. Justin Earley challenges readers from the beginning of the book that our habits are acts of worship, which is why our habits do matter.

If you’re a Kindle owner, this is a complete game changer! There’s nothing like getting all cuddled into bed and then having to stick your hand out only to turn the page! But not anymore–not with the remote! I got this little remote for Christmas and it’s been an absolute game changer! It has a great charge life; and when it’s time to turn the page, I can stay all cuddled under the blankets and still turn the page!

Celebration Favorites šŸŽ‰

I did some gift giving this month! So here are some of my celebration favorites

I love a good double-sided wrapping paper! This is the one I’m currently using and it’s great quality and you get quite the amount of paper!

This isn’t just for elementary kids! I have found it so helpful to have a little box inside my gift wrapping box! I keep a pair of scissors, a marker, and tape in the box. I don’t have to go searching for the scissors or the tape because it’s always in the little box! BONUS: I keep the box in the same spot in the gift wrapping box: on top of the tissue paper!

Gold and white wrapping paper is perfect for any occasion! I used it just this month for a bridal shower, and will use it again for Mother’s Day! I try and keep a wrapping paper that’s not Christmas or Birthdays that I can use for those “just because gifts” as well!

This was one of my favorite birthday gifts I got for Alec this year! We read and study out of the ESV at church and Alec has been needing a new Bible for church since his binding went out on the other one! I personally like the large print because it’s just easier to read and I think there’s a bit more writing room in the margins!

Everyday Favorites 🤩

These are just fun random items that I use literally every day!

I’ve been on a Blueberry Coffee kick lately and this one tastes delicious and smells so good. I regularly have people tell me something smells good when I’m carrying my coffee! Because I use the decaf, it makes the perfect afternoon treat–but it also comes fully caffeinated too!

My most recent Stanley find and it’s my favorite color! I know the Owala is the big one right now, but the o-ring in mine just doesn’t stay clean. The Stanley is easy to clean and it obviously has the reputation of keeping drinks good and cold! I have multiple Stanley colors but was so pumped to fund this one!

Okay, now this is a bit bougie, I know! But they’re just so cute! It’s a cute little accessory for the car. I don’t have the exact one because mine is Kansas City Chiefs! However, I love how cute it looks in the car!

Definitely my everyday item! My phone has definitely dropped quite a bit and this case has kept it secure! Also, it has the ability to charge through the case even wirelessly, so if you have a charging pad in your car, it will still work in this case!
