LifeWay Women’s Bible CSB

I cannot tell you enough how thankful I am for LifeWay! From a little kid, LifeWay has had an impact on my life because of VBS. It was this great week of Bible Stories and learning about missions all around the world. Then throughout college, I visited the LifeWay store to grab resources and other books to help my spiritual growth. I remember walking the store for hours at a time to read the backs of different books, making wishlists of the ones I wanted to read. Now, as an adult, I have had the opportunity meet several of the ladies who work at LifeWay who put together trainings and even the very books and magazines that LifeWay publishes. And now, I get to be a small piece of that team by introducing you to a new CSB Women’s Bible LifeWay has just published.

You can check out all the specific details by clicking here, but I wanted to share with you a few of the things I love about this Bible!

Unlike some Bibles, this one includes Bible studies and devotional content from some of LifeWay’s authors: Lauren Chandler, Lisa Harper, Mary Kassian, Kelly King (one of those great ladies I’ve gotten to meet), Priscilla Shirer, and many others.

As a former English teacher, I LOVE helpful visuals like this to make things come alive. It helps with understanding the context and really provides perspective to what was happen at the time!

Speaking of perspective and context, nothing helps more than MAPS! And check out how pretty these are!

The last thing that I love about this is the introduction page to each book of the Bible. Like most study Bibles, the intro gives you some of the background information to the book–author, time it was written, big picture, and this one gives a timeline of events! This is so helpful to getting the most out of your time with Jesus!

If you don’t have a study Bible, this is a great one to start with and will help your time in the Word! But most importantly, get in the Word. It doesn’t have to be this particular study Bible, just grab the Word of God and start reading!
